Colonials Community Volunteer Corps, sponsored by Colonial Youth and Family Services, is working on many projects this spring. Volunteers meet every Wednesday to plan and discuss projects.
Every Tuesday morning, we help at the Community Food Pantry. Volunteers help distribute food to families needing food assistance. The food pantry is attached to William Paca Junior High School.
Every Friday, after school, volunteers remove graffiti vandalism from municipal property. To date volunteers have removed 5,882 pieces of graffiti vandalism. Other beautification efforts include several community clean ups and a community garden project.
