Colonial Youth and Family Services provides therapy services to children, adolescents, and adults by offering a safe and welcoming space. When you come to Colonial you can expect to work with a therapist who is not only knowledgeable but who is also empathetic and supportive. We understand that reaching out for help can be difficult and we acknowledge that by doing so you are taking a huge first step toward helping yourself or your loved one. Our therapists are here to help you along the way while you work on different therapeutic goals created by you and your therapist. We believe in the importance of the therapeutic relationship and aim to provide personalized and client-centered mental health care.
Some of our areas of expertise include: Adjustment Disorders, Anxiety, Behavior Therapy, Coping Skills, Depression, Grief Counseling, Life Transitions, Mindfulness, Parenting, Self-Esteem, Stress, and Trauma Therapy.
In addition, we also offer compassionate case management services to assist with things such as housing, insurance, and advocacy resources and referrals.
Our mental health counseling services are currently being offered in person and via telehealth. Case management services are available by calling the office or scheduling an appointment at the William Floyd Library.
