Basket Auction

William Floyd United Teachers in conjunction with Colonial Youth and Family Services will be hosting a Basket Auction….November 17th,2017 at William Floyd High school 12th Grade Cafeteria….Doors will open at 6:30pm and calling begins at 8pm…..$15 per person (12 and under is free)….Limited space and admission includes 50 regular raffle tickets…..For more information contact 631-281-4461

 

Volunteer Recognition

On Wednesday, October 11, 2017 an award ceremony was held at William Floyd High School for members of Colonials Community Volunteer Corps. Many dignitaries were present to thank the volunteers and present them with certificates. Several volunteers received special recognition for their efforts. Thomas Pirello, Penny Auerbach, Emily Walsh, Nicole McDonald and Isabella Coppola were recognized for giving 100 hours of volunteer time; Thomas Pirello for giving 250 hours. Volunteers are involved in many projects including, Graffiti Removal, Community Clean up, Flowers for Friends and community gardens.
